306 Sports Cards is a family-owned business that grew out of passion and necessity. Our daughter was 16 months old when we were told that she had a rare brain tumor called a Hypothalamic Hamartoma. Samantha was the first to be diagnosed with this condition in Saskatchewan at the time. Our world was turned upside down as we processed her diagnoses. We became driven to be able to provide for our daughter no matter the obstacle life put in our way.
Our family has always found comfort in watching hockey together and over time developed a love of collecting sports cards. Paul has always had a passion for sports cards and collecting. Through Facebook, we learned about group card breaks, where a group of individuals share a box of cards that is opened during a live stream. Once after participating in a group break we did not receive our cards and so grew the passion to build a safe place for card collectors, hobbyists and group breaking built on authenticity and trust.
306 Sports Cards originated at our kitchen table and through hard work, determination and commitment, an amazing online community was developed.
Today we have an extraordinary hobby store located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We feel grateful for every day that we can serve this incredible community. Today 306 Sports Cards is an internationally recognized brand that ships globally. Our family-based business has allowed us the flexibility to care for our daughter whose abilities amaze us daily.
